Review of the Anatomicals facemask + more!

Hello everyone,

Happy New Year! This is my first blog post of 2018 and what better way to start it by doing a collab post. Today I am going to be reviewing the Anatomical facemasks. If you want to know which ones I’ve tried, then keep reading.

Before I start this post, I want to be honest with you guys. I was sent these products last year but there were a few complications.  I got sent the products but I wasn’t sent everything, so I contacted Anatomicals and they resent the products. They were so nice and they reply to Instagram dm’s which is great! Then Christmas rolled around and everyone is busy including myself so I thought it would be unfair to post this during a time when stats are low. Especially when it wasn’t their fault for a product being missing.

Anyway, aside from that, let’s start with my favourite product out of the 3 facemasks!

The hottie tottie is never spotty

This facemask is my favourite because I saw results after the first use. I remember using it before going to school on my big spot on my spot and it shrunk at the end of the day. I used the facemask another two more times on my spots and they disappeared! I was a bit sceptical about the creamy consistency thinking that it will make my oily spots more oily but I was totally wrong. I really liked the smell because it was very fresh.

I feel the need, the need for seaweed

Again, with the packaging! It’s so simple and I love the lime green colour. This mask smells like algae which I really liked and the slight gel consistency to it. I used this in the bath and it felt so nice and cool against my skin. After washing it off, my skin was so soft that I couldn’t stop touching it, haha. Facemasks that leave my skin feeling like this are my absolute fave!

“Get outta my face dirtball”

This face wash has my favourite slogan to it. Apricot is one of my favourite scents (anything fruity and sweet), so this was the one product I was so excited to try out because I do love a good exfoliator. This is a face mask that you’d use twice a week because it has big apricot pieces that take a layer of dirt out of your skin. I really enjoyed this product and I was able to get five uses out of it which I think was amazing!

No breakouts. It’s Alcatraz for spots

I was so excited to try this face mask too because I LOVE using charcoal facemasks. Let me tell you this, I was not disappointed! Charcoal facemasks make my skin break out and then calms my skin down the next day. A day after that, my skin clears up and doesn’t break out after a while. This is exactly what this facemask did. I would love for this facemask to be in a pot instead of a sachet just like the L’oreal  charcoal clay mask because I would love to use this product more then 3 times!

I absolutely adore the packaging and phrases! Some of them are hilarious too! I was so surprised at the amount of product that comes in each sachet because I was able to use it three-four times which is amazing. From standard facemasks, they only last about two-3 uses. Also, none of the facemasks are peel offs.

The sleek shall inherit the earth

The conditioner is a so lovely. After I washed my hair, I put this on my ends for 3 minutes and it left my hair super soft. I think this product is great because it gets the job done. The only thing that I don’t like is the smell. So I tried the reverse poo. If you don’t know what it is, it’s when you use conditioner first and then shampoo and it should give the same results. The only difference from when I did that was that my hair smelt of my Dove shampoo instead of the conditioner.

So I hope you all enjoyed this post. I have more facemasks from when they resent the package which was so nice of Anatomicals! If you would like to be featured in a post then let me know. Have a lovely evening everyone 🙂

  1. Ahh I would love to try out these products! Love the packaging and the fact that you’ve had a good experience with them all – it’s wonderful to hear in particular that the anti-blemish face mark worked from when you first used it:)

  2. Wow these products look amazing!! Unfortunately I was also supposed to be doing work with anatomicals however after them sending their products to me in late October they never arrived, and after multiple conversations on Instagram they said they couldn’t resend products to bloggers which is of course understandable. I love their products though and I’m so glad you got the chance to try them Najida!💗

    1. Thank you so much for reading!<3 That was the exact same time I was contacted on Instagram too and I never thought it would take that long, haha. Maybe the timing was a bit off for sending products but I guess we will will never know 🙂
